Siobhan Brown is the owner and master instructor of Rhythmic Soul Dance Company in Charlotte, North Carolina. Mrs. Brown was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York by way of Charlotte, North Carolina. Siobhan Brown is the owner and master instructor of Rhythmic Soul Dance Company in Charlotte, North Carolina. Mrs. Brown was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York by way of Charlotte, North Carolina. Mrs. Brown aspired to dance as a young child watching Black College Football on BET with her father. Mrs. Brown has 20 plus years of dance, step and performance experience. She has dance training and performance experience in the areas of Jazz, Hip-Hip, Majorette (Band Style Dancing), Lyrical and Creative Dancing. She also has experience as a Step Master/Instructor for her sorority, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated. She was a member of the Elements of Class (EOC) Step team and organization at East Mecklenburg High School; graduating in 1999.
Mrs. Brown has held leadership positions as captain and co-captain while dancing in the Livingstone College Marching Band during her undergraduate career, in Salisbury, North Carolina; 1999-2003. While earning her Bachelors in Social Work degree, she also danced with Evolution Dance Team. Mrs. Brown continued her advanced education and love for dance while pursuing her Master of Social Work degree at Norfolk State University. Mrs. Brown danced with Xclusive Dance Competition Team and competed to win a title in the State of Virginia in 2007.
Mrs. Brown relocated back to the south where she focused on her children, education, and dance; 2008. She obtain her Masters in Social Work Degree from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC; 2013.
Mrs. Brown had an opportunity to coach Cheerleading with the Northeast Dolphins on a team, were her son played youth football. She absolutely loved the new experience, incorporating dance with cheer cheerleading. Mrs. Brown's two daughter are talented young dancers with a vision to be great in their craft. Mrs. Brown has a goal to teach dance, confidence and self-expression. Mrs. Brown is a positive influence on her students and inspires them to look past their circumstances and be great. Her impact truly goes beyond dance and education; she provides girl talk sessions, social skill building, and positive thinking within themselves as young women. Her goals is to provide an experience beyond competing; life experience and self-love.
